A nutrition health assessment questionnaire and 3-day diary form will be emailed or mailed to you prior to your first appointment. Please bring this with you. (Please note: for those interested nutrition counseling sessions by phone or online are available.)

Customized Health Plan – Initial Visit:

All ages!  Nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis and evaluation.
You will receive your assessment, mealplan, shopping list and goal sheet.
Help with all sorts of diets including standard American, vegan, vegetarianism, raw food diet, restricted diets due to allergies or disease (gluten, dairy), FODMAP diet, medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, GERD, IBS, hypertension and cardiovascular disease and more.

Ongoing weekly support is available -please ask for details.

Follow-Up Visits:
Number of follow-up visits will vary depending on your particular needs.

If you are coming to see me for your “releasing weight” goals, it is not a one-size fits all approach. Your lifestyle patterns with be assessed in the areas of coping, eating and exercise. A plan based on your results, readiness of change and personal goals will be provided in detail with a TON of SUPPORT. Everyone is different -some people just need some “tweaking” in their plan and didn’t know if they were receiving enough nutrients. Others are more than ready for a whole lifestyle change and find my services are more than enough to help them succeed! Take your pick from ongoing nutrition/weight counseling, coordinated care with doctors and health team, exercise plan, grocery store tours, cooking demos, pantry makeovers, and more!

Metabolism Testing:
Find out how many calories your body needs based on your unique RMR (resting metabolic rate). A person of the same weight, height and gender can have a very different metabolism. Using an indirect calorimeter your personalized calorie budget can be determined. Recommended for clients struggling with either weight loss or weight gain.  For more information: Metabolism 101

General Q&A Session:
Available for general nutrition questions and information. A few examples of topics clients may ask about are: drug/nutrient interactions, how to read food labels, anti-inflammatory diet and recipes and resources for medical conditions.

Flexible Spending Accounts may cover nutrition services for specific medical conditions. Consult your service provider.
